  • The artist again employs a strong diagonal through the composition, suggesting perhaps, a mountain and sky, or desert and ocean. The work is comprised of a mixture of organic and acrylic materials, composed in a gilded swathe. It recalls shining stars, just out of reach for humans but which speak of the infinity of the cosmos and remind us of the smallness of our existence. The title, Shelter, also suggests a refuge amongst the darkness, as the stars offer light even in the darkest sky.
