Using palm leaves that are endemic to the desert area around Dubai and the gold leaf that appears elsewhere in this series, the artist creates a celebratory image that echoes symbols like the crown, a glowing halo, new growth, and divinity. The title suggests the importance of light and sun in the feeling of freedom, a triumphant celebration of being one with nature and the divine.
