A pair of feathered, golden wings folds across the canvas, as if they are about to take flight. Using found materials from the desert, the artist binds together the image of the palm tree and the winged bird, both strongly associated with freedom. The artist invites us to spread our own wings, and find our own freedom in the work as she has found hers.
